We are excited to share an important update on our curbside compost collection program. In a collaborative effort to enhance environmental sustainability, SWAMP (Solid Waste Area Management Project) has officially begun processing compost for the City of Morden, along with our neighbours in the Stanley and Winkler municipalities.
This new initiative was developed in response to the closure of our former provider, Enviro Clean, and the increasing need for more effective compost management in our communities.
As we move forward with this initiative, we encourage all residents to participate actively in our composting program. Proper sorting and disposal of organic waste are crucial in making this initiative successful.
