Morden City Council meets monthly, usually on the last Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Civic Centre Council Chambers. Public viewing is allowed, but speaking requires a written request by the prior Tuesday or a council invitation. Comments on advertised by-law hearings are also allowed when recognized by the council. Meeting minutes are “draft” until approved at the next regular meeting.
Held monthly on the second Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., these meetings cover various city matters and are open to public attendance. Speaking requests must be submitted two weeks in advance. Minutes are “draft” until approved at the next regular Council meeting.
The City of Morden is located on Treaty No. 1 territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, and Dakota Nations, as well as the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. We honour their contributions to the past, present, and future. We express our gratitude for the land and water that sustains us, and we commit to learning from and working in partnership with the original caretakers of this territory.
