The Morden Figure Skating Club offers CanSkate and StarSkate lessons for all levels.
Programs for Ages: 4-18
CanSkate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to skate program that teaches fundamental movements (go forward, go backward, stop, turn, spin and jump) and basic skills. The CanSkate Program emphasizes fun and continuous movement and is taught in a group lesson format. Skaters may use hockey or figure skates. Sessions run October-March.
StarSkate offers opportunities for skaters to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas a of ice dance, skating skills, free skate, interpretive skating, and synchronized skating. Skaters typically enter the StarSkate program after completing the required CanSkate levels. StarSkate teaches figure skating in a group and/or private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner and includes specifically designed awards and incentives. Regular season runs October-March.
Fall/Winter/Spring: Public Skating, Parent & Tot Skate, 55+ Skate/Stick & Puck, $5 Skate/Stick & Puck, Rec Hockey, Youth Basketball, Red Cross Courses (Babysitting, Stay Safe & First Aid), Cardio Drumming, Yoga, Pilates, Fitness Kickboxing, Zumba, Pickleball, 14+ Badminton, 12+ Basketball, 18+ Volleyball, workshops and more.
Spring/Summer: Summer Day Camps, Swimming Lessons, Summer Sports, Paddlefest, Canada Day Beach Blast and more.
