Assessments

Property Assessment Services through Manitoba’s Assessment Office is responsible for assessing all real and personal property in the City of Morden.  For more information about assessment in Manitoba, please visit the website Manitoba Assessment Online | Province of Manitoba (gov.mb.ca)

Individual property assessments can be appealed, but taxes cannot.  If you have questions about your assessments, please contact the Provincial Assessment Branch located at Unit A – 536 Stephen Street, Morden, MB or call 204-822-2909 or Toll-free 1-866-606-7647 or by email at assessment@gov.mb.ca

Service Fees

The following selected fees are:

  • Tax Certificate fee $30
  • The fee chargeable for each returned cheque or preauthorized debit is $35
  • Request for a duplicate copy of a property tax statement: $5

 

Board of Revision

The Municipal Assessment Act requires municipalities to establish Boards of Revision each year to hear and decide upon applications for revision of the assessment roll.

Deadline for accepting appeals – Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023
