The Boundary Trails Health Foundation Board is looking to fill a membership opening for 2 (two) citizen representatives for the City of Morden. Potential candidates are encouraged to take an active role on the board on a regular basis and on their own initiative.
Requirements of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Be a resident of the City of Morden
- Attend monthly meetings, every fourth Monday at 5:30PM either at Boundary Trails Health Centre or virtually.
- The Board relies heavily on fundraisers and approaching the Pembina Valley community members and businesses for support. The candidate should be very comfortable and confident with approaching and connecting with these businesses and individuals for support via attendance, participation and/or sponsorships.
- The candidate should have a heartfelt passion for enhancing the healthcare of our region. The bulk of the BTHC Foundation budget goes towards Palliative Care, Spiritual Care and enhanced medical equipment when the needs arise. Our goal is to ensure that when you need your hospital, your hospital has what it needs to take care of you, your family and community.
