Historical Mill Rates
There are two factors that determine the amount of property taxes levied on property
- Assessment: The Market Value of your property based on two years prior. Assessments in Manitoba are determined by the Provincial Assessment Services Office.
- Mill Rates: a) Municipal mill rate – Determined by the City of Morden when the current year’s budget is developed; b) School mill rate – Determined by the Western School Division.
The 2023 mill rate is 16.853 down from the prior year’s mill rate of 17.607. A historical mill rate graph is shown below.
