Summer Program Assistants
Term: Seasonal Job
Morden Community Services department is looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to assist in leading summer day camps for the City of Morden. The Summer Program Assistants will connect well with the children in these programs and provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in leading summer day camps alongside Summer Programmer· Assist with larger events in the community including Canada Day
· Keep recreation equipment organized
· Other tasks as assigned by the Recreation Programmer
Qualifications:
· Good Communication skills· Experience working with children
· Good Leadership skills
· Ability to work well in a busy environment
· Team Player
· Positive Role Model
· Good organization skills
· Current Criminal Record & Child Abuse Registry Check
· First Aid & CPR Certification is an asset
Working Hours:
Typical working hours are Monday- Friday daytime. Opportunity to assist with larger city events and programs. Some evenings and weekends may be required for special events/programs. Season: July – AugustApplication Deadline:
